Aqeel Ahmed Nasir currently Chairs the Board of UBL Currency Exchange (Private) Limited and Central Depository Company (CDC).

He is a seasoned legal professional with over 30 years of experience spanning corporate law, cross-border transactions, international arbitration, and regulatory affairs. A distinguished leader in corporate governance, Mr. Nasir is the Chief Legal Counsel and Company Secretary of United Bank Limited (UBL) and holds directorships at Central Depository Company (CDC), Kot Addu Power Company Limited (KAPCO) and the Pakistan Railways Freight Transportation Company (PRFTC).

Mr. Nasir holds an LL.M. from Queen Mary College, University of London. He is a qualified Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales and an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan. Beyond his board roles, he is a PICG-certified director and contributed significantly to the Task Force that reviewed the 2017 Corporate Governance Code.
